Maayong pag-abot sa Dalaguete!
The Municipal Government of Dalaguete welcomes the Tanjay City Local Government Unit (LGU) officials for a successful benchmark visit in Dalaguete’s modernized slaughterhouse and wastewater treatment facility on August 27, 2024.
On behalf of Dalaguete Municipal Mayor Ronald Allan G. Cesante, CPA, the Municipal Head Engineer Expidizitas Lenares, Registered Master Plumber Sean Arthur Saniel, and Engineer Angelito Martin of Cebu Reliance Equipment Supply (the LGU’s equipment supplier of the said facilities), provided insights into the municipality’s modernized wastewater treatment facility, highlighting its operational improvements.
On the other hand, the municipal veterinarian Dr. Jogiel De Guzman, Dalaguete Agri-Pinoy Trading Center (DAPTC) Head John Moran, and meat inspector Jose Legaspi Jr. led a site visit to the Mantalongon and Cansusi slaughterhouses.
The delegation was conducted by Engineer Martin, inviting Tanjay City in Negros Oriental, Mayor Jose “Pepe” T. Orlino and its key officials, City Administrator Atty. Jan Claude Diao, Assistant City Administrator Atty. Jay Herrero, City Officials Hon. Arlot Regalado, Hon. Nenen Busmion, Hon. Lito Manso, Hon. Felix Mira, City Veterinarian Dr. Francis Dino Cadelina, City Vet Technicians, and City Environment and Natural Resources Office (ENRO) Mr. Antonio T. Castillo to visit Dalaguete’s slaughterhouse and wastewater treatment facility for benchmarking.
Mayor Orlino expressed gratitude on behalf of his team, thanking Dalaguete Municipal Mayor Cesante and to all the Dalaguetnons for their warm welcome and hospitality, stating, “Daghang salamat!”
Tanjay City veterinarian Dr. Francis Dino Cadelina praised the initiatives, stating, “The Dalaguete’s slaughterhouse is modernized and mechanized.”
Dr. Cadelina was amazed and wanted to adapt this machinery or equipment in their city to produce fast, safe, and clean pork, beef, and other meat for the consuming public.
The Municipality of Dalaguete is very much open to the public for benchmarking studies and concluded that the municipality invests in equipment and facilities that serve as role models to other LGUs and are also the sole reason for improving Dalaguetnon’s way of life.
