JUNE 20, 2024 – The Municipal Government of Dalaguete is filled with honor and gratitude as project partners, Gawad-Kalinga (GK) and Synchrony Foundation, turned-over 16 housing units to 16 Dalaguetenon families and unveiled Synchrony Community Learning Center for the children of GK village.
The housing project provides safe and secured shelter to beneficiary families as well as improve their quality of life and promote their dignity and pride. Further, establish a community prevailed with unity, compassion and peace. Additionally, Synchrony Community Learning Center, which included four computer units and Starlink internet connection, is in support of the educational development of the village children and provide them with space to study and research for educational purposes.
Present in the event were municipal officials and employees headed by Municipal Mayor Ronie Cesante, GK partners headed by GK Chairman Mr. Luis Oquiñena, Synchrony Foundation partners led by Mr. Michael Matthews and Ms. Denise Yap and family beneficiaries of the said village.
