The Municipality of Dalaguete joins the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the National Government in the celebration of the 2024 National Heritage Month (NHM) with the theme, “Championing Heritage: Capacity Building to Transform Communities”, which honors the labors of cultural workers and advocates working to connect with indigenous people (IP) communities for the empowerment and promotion of their cultural ingenuity and creativity through mainstream media.
In the digital era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, technology has developed and spread at an exponential rate, leaving behind the marginalized groups and IP communities of the nation. In solidarity of our fellow Filipinos, and in support of the Municipality’s vision of an “inclusive, value-oriented, and empowered society”, let us together help preserve and promote our culture and IP communities.
