Moa-signningThe Government of the Philippines, as one of its policies embodied under Section 20 of the Constitution, “recognizes the indispensable role of the private sector, encourages private enterprise, and provides incentives to needed investments. The Municipality of Dalaguete in 2014 was a recipient of a livelihood program fund amounting to Two Million Nine Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱2,900,000.00) from BUB-Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP).

The aforementioned amount is to be divided among ten (12) CSO organization or associations are the following (1)BULAK IRRIGATORS’ ASSOCIATION (2)DUGYAN FARMERS’ LIVELIHOOD ASSOCIATION (3)SUWA MANTALONGON FARMERS’ ASSOCIATION (4)KAPUNONGAN SA MGA KABABAYEN-AN SA DUMALAN (5)CASAY SEASIDE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE (6)CONSOLACION WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION (7)SOLONG-ON WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION (8)CATOLOHAN WOMEN’S ORGANIZATION (9)SACSAC WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION (10)CORO WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION (11)TABON WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION (12)SILAW SA PAG-LAUM PROGRAM for the sole purpose of using the financial assistance for a livelihood project to help its poor members.

To effectively implement the DILP, the parties together with Mayor Ronald Allan G. Cesante enter into a Memorandum of Agreement wherein the respective duties, commitments and responsibilities are defined.
