15-year-old Ignazimarie Ebarola of Coro, Dalaguete stood out in the grand finals of the Tri-Centennial Singing Star Season 2 held last December 31, 2011 at the Dalaguete Sports and Cultural Complex.
Ignazimarie sang “Follow your dreams”, the same piece she performed in one of the qualification nights. She bested seven other finalists in the ultimate showdown. Tiffany Kaye Arbol is in close second place while third prize was captured by Michelle Ann Lagunsad.
Other finalists included Prince Olbedo of Suba, Klair Llanos of Poblacion, Katrina Amariliento of Solong-on, Klowie Kane Aring of Poblacion, and Leigh Rose Sandoval of Tapon.
The singing contest was the finale of the week-long culmination activities of Dalaguete’s Tri-Centennial Celebration.
