With the start of a new century of Dalaguete’s being a town and a parish, Mrs. Adela S. Ebreo was crowned as the new Matron Queen of Dalaguete during the Grand Coronation Night last February 9, 2012 at the Dalaguete Sports and Cultural Complex.
The new queen’s Royal Court includes Ma. Delia M. Castaños and Marietta E. Bustamante.
The coronation was witnessed by some political leaders of Cebu led by Gov. Gwen Garcia and Provincial Board Members Willie Caminero and PeterJohn Calderon. Some mayors of Cebu’s second district was also present that included Boljoon’s Daday Celis, Ronda’s Nonie Blanco, and Badian’s Robert Librando.
Offering serenades to the queen and members of her Royal Court was former Pinoy Dream Academy scholar RJ Jimenez, courtesy of Jess Villahermosa’s invitation. Jess is currently the chief of staff of Ang Galing Pinoy (AGP) Party List Representative Juan Miguel “Mikey” Arroyo, the son of former president and now congressman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
