Program of Activities:
1. Information Drive
1.1. Orientation on Free Registration Program among School Administrators (District I and 2), January 24, 2017, Dalaguete Central Elementary School, Poblacion, Dalaguete, Cebu
A child of school age starts to build-up her official records / credentials. The crucial time to verify one’s vital statistics (on birth) is upon entrance to formal schooling. Often times, clients serviced at the MCRO are for school requirements. Thus we are bringing the service closer to the end users. The Security Paper on Birth was accessed at free service cost of P100 per document.
With this orientation, a commitment was forged among school administrators as stakeholders in the attainment of mandatory registration. Registration starts with the Negative Certificate (of birth). Then, DepEd form 137 and other formal school reports shall form part of the supporting documents to pursue with the delayed registration.
1.2 Orientation on Civil Registration among Parolees of the Parole and Probation Administration, February 1, 2017, 2nd floor, Dalaguete Health Management Complex, Poblacion, Dalaguete, Cebu
In relation to the Agency’s Seminar module on Family Solidarity, the importance of Marriage and its legal and social implications, obligations and responsibility attached to the covenant that is irrevocable underscored.
1.3 Barangay Secretary’s Meeting, February 2, 1017, Dalaguete SB Session Hall, Poblacion, Dalaguete, Cebu
Continuing dialogue among Barangay partners especially on the process of Out-of Town delayed registration and their support when clients would request for barangay certification for registration purposes.
1.4 Day Care Workers Meeting, February 6, 2017 (AM), Senior Citizen’s Building, Suba, Poblacion, Dalaguete, Cebu
As active volunteer workers in their respective barangays, the Day Care Workers play a vital role in the dissemination of Civil Registration laws especially that they are constantly working with the parents of their pupils.
1.5 Barangay Treasurer’s Meeting, February 6, 2017 (PM), SB Session Hall, Poblacion, Dalaguete, Cebu
Interest among participants was raised on the process of correction pursuant to Republic Act No. 9048 granting the authority of the Municipal Civil Registrar to correct a clerical error or typographical error and or change of first name or nickname, and Act No. 10172 amending provisions of RA 0948 extending the coverage of exemptions to correct clerical errors in the day and month of the date of birth or gender without a court order.
2. Free services:
a. Transcription records of Marriage, Birth, Death
244 complementary transactions at P115 per document, total of
P 28,060.00 waived fees
b. Service Fee for NSO-BREQS applicants (School Based)
Total of 1,420 security paper requests translating to P142,000.00 Discount was enjoyed as availed in some 36 Elementary Schools within the Municipality
c. Marriage License application
Total of 7 couples were extended the privilege of fifty pesos (P 50.00) discount at the rate of 50 % on Marriage License application for Registry No. 2017-39 (filed in Feb. 6) up to Registry No. 2017-45 (filed in Feb. 24, 2017), that is P 350.00
3. Mass Wedding Program, Barangay Caleriohan Chapel
20 couples enlist for the community marriage solemnization assisted by the parishioners of San Isidro Labrador, Matalongon, Dalaguete, Cebu.

With the issuance of SB Resolution No. 226-2016 Authorizing the Municipal Civil Registrar to conduct Mobile Registration Program in the Municipality and Authorizing the same to waive or grant discount service Fees to Clients, a year-round Mobile Rregistration Program will be rolled out to every barangay to ensure that every Dalaguetenon shall enjoy their rights and privilege as a Filipino citizen and partake a proactive role in nation-building.
